Werner Park is the home of the Omaha Storm Chasers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. The ballpark is located on the outskirts of Papillion in Sarpy County.

Food & Drinks

Werner Park, home of the Omaha Storm Chasers, opened in 2011. It is located on the outskirts of Papillion and seats 9,023 fans. It’s a modern and more intimate ballpark than its predecessor, Rosenblatt Stadium, which held only 9,000 spectators and was torn down in 2011.

In addition to traditional concession fare, Werner Park offers several food options that are unique to the region, including a variety of gluten-free choices. The team store, located behind section 114, is open on game days from when the gates open until after the final play of the game.

Hand-held video cameras for personal use are permitted inside the stadium. However, professional photography equipment, cameras with lenses larger than four inches, and camera support pods are not allowed. Guests may bring small banners and signs that are not offensive and do not obstruct the views of other fans.


As a fan-friendly venue, Werner Park has a lot of seating options to choose from. Depending on the event you’re going to, you can find seats at the very front or towards the back of the stadium. There are also many different kinds of concession stands that serve food and drinks for fans to enjoy during the game.

Fans can also purchase club seat tickets which grant them access to the team’s Jack Daniel’s Club for exclusive food and drink options. This unique ballpark features a zero-degree entry from street level, a spacious and modern concourse, and berm seating that wraps around the entire field.

In addition to playing host to Omaha Storm Chasers baseball games, Werner Park is a wonderful destination for other events like concerts, charitable 5Ks, and much more throughout the year. The ballpark in Lavista, on the southwest side of the Omaha metro, offers plenty of parking and a good selection of food and beverage options. There are typical pedestrian beer choices, but also some local brews and a variety of snacks including pizza, burgers, and fries.

The stadium is home to the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. It opened in April 2011, replacing the small Rosenblatt Stadium, which had been the team’s home since its inception. The park has a capacity of 23,145 and hosts other sports events in addition to baseball games.

In addition to Omaha Storm Chasers and Union Omaha soccer games, the facility hosts high school and community sporting events as well as corporate events and off-site meetings. It is a true sports arena that manifests the authentic American spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. For your convenience, the parking lots open two hours prior to game time. Werner Park is a smoke-free facility where smoking is prohibited (including electronic cigarettes and vaporized nicotine).
